API-based technology company Hepstar has partnered with Air Doctor, a location-based app connecting local doctors around the world to facilitate medical support for travellers.
The service enables users to access a network of over 20,000 approved doctors across 75 countries for qualified medical care. Using the facility, travellers can book clinic and home visits or phone and video consultations 24/7 with trusted doctors, wherever they are.
With this partnership, Hepstar aims to bring Air Doctor’s innovative offering to the travel booking process to streamline travellers’ subscription to the service where and when it’s most in demand. The Air Doctor App is translated to 7 different languages and the video consultation is available in 21 languages.
“We are delighted to join Hepstar’s travel ancillary network. This partnership is another strong indication of the growing need to support travellers around the globe with their medical needs – especially in a post-Covid world,” said Jenny Cohen Derfler, CEO, Air Doctor.
“While we’re already operating in 75 countries, we’re always working to expand our network and help all travellers anytime, anywhere. Our digital platform allows travellers to filter doctors by spoken language and speciality to find the best doctor for them,” he added.
Sharing the thought behind the partnership, Brett Dyason, CEO, Hepstar, said, “We’re able to recommend Air Doctor subscription packages appropriate for traveller needs so they have peace of mind when travelling abroad.”
Hepstar is a travel ancillary aggregator and recommendation engine focused on optimal and personalised packaging of ancillary products for customers of online travel providers.
“Air Doctor makes medical care abroad easily accessible, connecting travellers to private doctors around the world. It will be a valuable addition to our offering to our extensive network of travel partners,” he said.
