Fanatic Sports, Travel Fintech SanKash partner to make sports tourism affordable, ET TravelWorld

Travel fintech Sankash, has partnered with Fanatic Sports to offer EMIs payment options to their customers for an affordable and seamless experience to some of the biggest sporting events, held across the world.

A leading sports ticketing, hospitality and experiential travel company, Fanatic Sports ideates, curates, and delivers immersive sports experiences, combining official match tickets, team hotels, celebrity events and 360 degree travel solutions.

Sports tourism is one of the fastest growing sectors in tourism and our aim is to make sports travel affordable and convenient for everyone, and this partnership is a step in that direction.” said Akash Dahiya, Co-Founder and CEO of SanKash.

SanKash’s credit option under the initiative range in value up to INR 10 lakhs, depending on the requirements of the customer and it can be spread over 12 months with 6 months no-cost EMI option, the company shared.

This first of its kind agreement between the two UAE carriers aims to capitalise on opportunities to boost tourism to the UAE from key source markets by enabling visitors to experience more than one destination in a single itinerary. ​This summer, customers of each airline will be able to purchase a single ticket to fly into either Dubai or Abu Dhabi, with a seamless return via the other airport.

Global sports tourism market is driven by growing contribution toward GDP and employment. Additionally, increasing number of sporting events across the world is another factor propelling growth of the global market. Major national and international tournaments and events are being planned and held to promote sports tourism.
