BLS to provide visa, legalisation services for Italian Embassy in Cameroon, ET TravelWorld

BLS International Services Ltd, a global outsourcing and technology solutions provider for governments and diplomatic missions, has recently secured its fifth consecutive contract with the Italian Government.

The contract mandates BLS International to provide visa and legalisation services for the Embassy of Italy in Cameroon, further reinforcing the company’s position as a trusted partner in handling critical consular affairs.

Under this five-year agreement, BLS International will assume responsibility for managing and operating two state-of-the-art Visa Application Centers (VACs) strategically located in the cities of Douala and Yaounde. These centers will act as convenient and efficient hubs, catering to a diverse range of applicants seeking visas and document legalization for Italy.

The Italian Embassy in Cameroon receives a substantial volume of visa applications, and BLS International is geared up to process an expected annual count of 16,000 applications.

To ensure a smooth and streamlined experience for individuals and businesses applying for Italian visas, the company has committed to employing a highly trained workforce and integrating cutting-edge technology into its service framework.

The successful acquisition of this contract marks a series of achievements for BLS International, as it has previously secured similar contracts with the Italian Missions in Senegal, Abu Dhabi, and Kazakhstan.

The newly introduced e-Visa will facilitate entry into the Russian Federation for a variety of purposes, including guest visits, business trips, tourism, and participation in various events. This initiative will reduce the need for extensive documentation and lengthy processing times for Indian passport holders. The processing time for issuing a single-entry visa under the e-Visa system will be limited to a maximum of four calendar days.
