The remaining 13 per cent were queries related to international accommodations, emphasising the global outlook of Indian travellers.

As the travel landscape diversifies, vacation rentals have also emerged as a compelling option.

New Delhi – Mumbai has emerged as the most searched domestic air travel route in India, while New Delhi – Dubai is the most searched international air travel route. Dubai has also emerged as the most searched international travel destination.

UK and UAE follow suit, forming a triumvirate of sources propelling India’s inbound tourism.

Amidst the land of spirituality, the Jagannath Temple beckons seekers, crowning Puri as the most popular searched pilgrimage city. The most searched cities in need of accommodation are Mumbai and Bengaluru in India.
