The national airline of the United Arab Emirates, Etihad Airways, has announced its collaboration with Bollywood superstar Katrina Kaif as their new brand ambassador. This partnership marks a pivotal moment for Etihad as it intensifies its presence in the Indian aviation market, while reuniting with one of India‘s most adored cinematic icons.

The actress’ affiliation with the airline will be unveiled through a series of videos to be shared across both Etihad and Katrina’s social media platforms.

As Etihad’s brand ambassador, Kaif will take center stage in a series of engaging campaign videos that spotlight the airline’s commitment to comfort, service, and seamless global connectivity. This partnership further solidifies Etihad’s position in the Indian market, where it currently serves eight Indian cities, reaffirming Etihad as the preferred choice for travellers and aligning seamlessly with the airline’s strategy for sustained growth in India.

This latest partnership builds upon Katrina’s previous collaboration with Etihad in 2010 when she was featured as a discerning traveller showcasing Etihad’s travel experience. According to the airline, her previous association highlighted her admiration for the airline’s dedication to comfort and top-tier service.

I am excited to be part of a team dedicated to fostering meaningful connections and creating unforgettable experiences. I eagerly anticipate representing Etihad and embarking on this journey with them,” stated Kaif.

Air France-KLM & Etihad expand partnership to enhance passenger experience

Both Air France-KLM and Etihad intend to expand on the codeshare and interline agreements initiated in 2012. As an initial step, they have made over 40 new routes available for booking, covering destinations across Europe, the Middle East, Asia Pacific, and Australia. Additionally, the MoU proposes mutual benefits for frequent flyers of both Flying Blue and Etihad Guest programs.

The first video from this collaboration features Katrina Kaif aboard Etihad’s newest A350 aircraft. The film also showcases the exclusive Armani-Casa dining wear, luxurious bedding, and complimentary in-flight Wi-Fly service.

This film is now available on both Etihad and Kaif’s social media channels.
