Emirates, in collaboration with VFS Global, has launched a groundbreaking pre-approved visa-on-arrival service exclusively for Indian passport holders. The initiative, fulfilled by the Dubai Visa Processing Centre (DVPC), aims to streamline the arrival experience for Emirates customers travelling to Dubai.

Under this new facility, Indian travellers who have booked their flights with Emirates and hold a valid six-month visa for the US, EU Residency, UK Residency, or US Green Card, will be eligible for a pre-approved 14-day single entry visa upon arrival in Dubai. This service enables them to bypass the traditional visa-on-arrival queues, ensuring a hassle-free entry process.

To avail of this service, Emirates customers can book their flights through emirates.com or their preferred travel agent. Upon booking, they can access the UAE visa application portal via the ‘Manage an existing booking’ section on emirates.com. The portal, powered by VFS Global Services, provides comprehensive guidance and facilitates the visa application process.

While the issuance of visas remains at the discretion of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs, this initiative significantly simplifies the visa application procedure for eligible Indian travellers.
