India’s biggest airport lounge facility is now open at the Delhi‘s Indira Gandhi International Airport’s Terminal 3 with services exclusively available only to business and first-class passengers. With this addition, two separate lounge facilities will be available for passengers at the airport.

The exclusive lounge ‘Encalm Prive‘ at T3 will only be accessible to the international passengers flying on higher class of seat-configuration. Credit card users can continue to use lounge facilities at the food court level of Terminal 3, International, after the security hold area.

The airport lounge currently spans out at 22,000 sq ft approximately, and once fully operational it will flaunt a massive area of 30,000 sq ft making it the biggest lounge facility in the country. Encalm Prive will be managed by Encalm Hospitality, which already operates multiple lounges at Delhi airport.

Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL), a GMR-Group consortium which operates the Delhi airport in a communication said that the new Encalm Prive lounge is part of its unified lounge strategy to optimise space and provide a premium experience to passengers. DIAL also claims Encalm Prive to be the largest airport lounge in Asia.

The lounge can accommodate around 550 guests and provides a host of premium services and facilities. Amenities available at the airport include a kids playing area, library and a business centre apart from multi-cuisine buffet, bar, and live food counters.

The executive lounge will soon start offering spa and fitness services, gaming zone, cigar room, express laundry and nap room facility with sleeping pods. A buggy service within the lounge premise is also on the cards.
