Business Events Sydney (BESydney), a specialist bidding expert from Sydney, has introduced the Sydney Meetings Fund (SMF) in India, offering financial support to travel agents and meeting planners to alleviate the cost pressures associated with organising events.

The SMF aims to assist event planners in covering or offsetting on-the-ground expenses for corporate and incentive events with a smaller attendance of 100-250 persons. Applications for funding support are now open for a limited time and can be accessed through BESydney’s website.

Kristian Nicholls, Executive General Manager Client Engagement, BESydney, highlighted the significance of Sydney as a top market for India and expressed enthusiasm for welcoming corporate meetings and incentives from the region. Nicholls emphasized the appeal of Sydney’s natural beauty, wildlife, adventure, sporting experiences, and culinary offerings, based on positive feedback received following a 2023 India famil to Sydney.

In addition to the SMF, BESydney offers planning tools, supplier connections, and expert advice on the latest experiences, hotels, and attractions to enhance delegates’ experiences. Planners organizing events larger than 250 delegates can also directly contact BESydney for assistance.
